Bunker Fuel Delivery Disputes Resolution – international workshop for bunkerers and shipping companies designed to help delegates clarify what should be done and what does work in cases of inferior quality fuel delivery, poor performance related to fuel delivery obligations, and non-compliance with requirements of Marpol Annex VI. The course will focus on:

  • Production of bunker fuel & blending. Fuel standards
  • Sampling & treatment on board ship
  • Marpol Annex VI and problems associated with supply and consumption of LSFO & use of 500cst fuel
  • Quantity determination and surveyors
  • Types of claims – quantity & quality. How to manage claims with examples
  • Terms and conditions of sale
  • Unusual contaminants in fuel and advanced testing methods

Plus exercices on fuel treatment & on fuel quality. Aso delegates are presented with a claim case study and asked to consider all aspects and develop strategy to resolve the issues.
