Strategic HR in Energy Sector: Human Resources. Corporate culture. Internal communications. International workshop 24 - 25 March 2011, Moscow

STRATEGIC HR in Energy Sector:
Human Resources. Corporate culture. Internal communications
.
International workshop
March 24-25, 2011, Moscow

On average a qualified worker in the oil and gas sector stays with a company for less than 3 years before moving on. Paying them more money is not the answer. So what is?

A 2010 survey of oil and gas companies operating in Russia found that ‘Lack of skilled workforce’ was one of their top 3 challenges. There is a worldwide shortage of experienced oil and gas engineers in particular. How can the skills pipeline be improved?

Leadership demands new skills today. What are they and how can they be developed?

Most employees are either disengaged or not fully engaged. Companies with fully engaged employees have share price growth 10% above industry average. How can that competitive advantage be captured?

Learn from the experience of a wide range of successful companies, and benefit from their experiences in building and communicating company culture, leadership, education, training and development and employee engagement.

WHY TO ATTEND
International Experience
Over the last decade, HR and business leaders in successful international companies have been getting together to figure out how they can meet the challenges of a fast-moving globalised world so as to improve business performance. This 2 day seminar offers a unique opportunity to benefit from their insights and take away practical ideas to implement in your organisation.

Practical solutions
All the seminar participants work in the oil and gas sector. It makes the seminar highly efficient: only “your” topics, questions and solutions.
All confirmed participants will be asked to complete a short 10 minute confidential questionnaire in advance outlining the priority issues you want the seminar to address. Our expert material will be tailored to focus on practical answers to the issues raised. Thus, you take an active part in the seminar agenda shaping.

High interactivity
You will have a chance to participate in the discussions and share your experience. Our expert speakers will interact with you throughout the two days on practical ways to help you deliver business success and provide you with models, templates and guides to take away and use. Apart from the facilitated group discussions and practice exercises, a combination of presentations, and video clips will be used.

He is currently a senior lecturer and researcher at the University of Central Lancashire and at the School of Advanced Study of the University of London, specialising in the philosophy of human communication. Starting from the insight that the disconnect between organisations as functional wholes and organisations as communities of individuals defines many of the challenges organisations face today, Johan focuses on fundamental analysis and advice and the facilitation and implementation of thought-processes in organisations.
