Innovative technologies and equipment for tank farms and oil terminals. Conference and Exhibition 25 - 26 November 2010, Saint-Petersburg

I International Conference
"Innovative technologies and equipment for tank farms and oil terminals"
25-26 November 2010, Saint-Petersburg, Russia

One of Russia’s strategic priorities in the oil and gas sector is the development of an infrastructure to transport and store crude oil, liquefied gases and oil products. We have seen a tremendous growth in the construction and modernization of terminals, tank farms and other marine and river transport infrastructure assets over recent years.

However, a core objective for the government and the industry is to maintain environmental safety, to keep the air and water resources around the terminals clean, while growing their capacity.

This is why modern technologies and the latest environmental protection techniques are becoming so important for the construction and upgrade of marine terminals and tank farms. Many of them are located in extreme climates and natural environments. A very careful approach to the construction of oil and gas facilities is therefore crucial to ensure that any risk of affecting the environment is prevented.

I International Conference «Innovative technologies and equipment for tank farms and oil terminals» which will be held on 25 - 26 November 2010 in Saint-Petersburg is specially designed for technical specialists engaged in the transportation and storage of crude oil and oil products services.

The event’s extensive programme includes:

  • Presentations from federal authorities directly responsible for environmental and industrial standards compliance
  • Presentations from leading technology and equipment providers
  • Presentations from chief technical officers of transshipment terminals covering the technical solutions they use and their experience of running terminals or tank farms
