Do not miss the unique opportunity to participate in a technical tour of the Marine Merchant Port at Ust-Luga in the Gulf of Finland on November 27, 2010 (Saturday)! We are delighted to announce the openning of second visit to the Port Ust Luga on the 24th of November (Wednesday).
Participation in the tour is restricted to delegates of the V International Annual Congress Oil Terminal 2010, which will take place on November 25 & 26 in Saint-Petersburg.
The port of Ust-Luga is located at the frontier between the Russian Federation and the European Union. The port has a cargo traffic capacity of 120 m tonnes per annum. It plays a crucial role in cargo transshipment within the European transport infrastructure and is the only Russian port in the Baltic Sea to accept tankers up to 120 thousand deadweight tonnes.
There are six operational terminals in Ust-Luga today, while work is ongoing to launch the following major projects:
Gunvor Oil Terminal (a Swiss oil trading company), commissioned and developed by Rosneftebunker. Design capacity: 25 MTPA.
Ust-Luga Bunker Facility: oil product transshipment. The Ust-Luga Oil Storage is planned to be commissioned in 2011 linked to the Baltic Pipeline System Phase 2 (BTS-2) by OAO Transneft.
Sibur Terminal: a terminal for liquefied hydrocarbon gases and light petroleum products. Annual capacity: up to 4 million tons. To be commissioned in 2012.
Novatek Terminal: gas condensate transhipment and fractionation facility; construction pending
Usg-Luga Refinery: the Ministry of Transport has made an application to build a 8.5 MTPA refinery. The application is under review.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the strict security requirements at the port and at the terminals all participants of the tour must present the following information to Vostock Capital’s office by November 01, 2010:
Russian nationals: complete national passport data (or a copy of the page with the photograph), employer and position within the company
Other nationals: a copy of your business visa (a mandatory requirement), a copy of your international passport, information on your nationality, employer, and position in the company.
